This treatment is strictly contraindicated. There is no clinical safety data for HA injectables during pregnancy. We recommend postponing elective fillers until after childbirth.

Avoid alcohol for 24h before and 48h after the procedure. Alcohol is a vasodilator that can exacerbate post-filler swelling and increase the risk of bruising at the sensitive injection sites.

Dosage is individualized based on the depth of the superficial lines. The 0.55 ml syringe size is ideal for precise "micro-dosing" in the lips or eyes. Clinicians should determine if 0.5 ml of lip filler is enough for your patient's hydration goals before utilizing the full 1.1 ml pack.

Common reactions include temporary swelling, localized redness, and purple bruising. Due to the high water-binding capacity of Hylacross gels, initial swelling may be visible for 24–48 hours. Juvederm Ultra 2 acts as a smooth filling agent that binds to water molecules to smooth out "cracks" in the skin's surface. Unlike skin boosters, it remains cross-linked to provide a physical, lasting correction of fine lines in the superficial to mid-dermis.

Injection is not recommended for nursing mothers. It is advised to wait until the breastfeeding period has completely concluded to ensure maximum safety for both mother and infant.

Contains 24 mg/ml of cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid of non-animal origin and 0.3% Lidocaine hydrochloride for a comfortable treatment experience.
