Juvederm Ultra 2 (2×0.55 ml) is a smooth, elastic hyaluronic acid gel designed for the correction of fine to moderate wrinkles in the superficial and mid dermis. It works well for lips, perioral and periorbital areas, where subtle correction and natural facial movement are essential.
The presence of lidocaine (0.3%) helps reduce discomfort during injection, ensuring a more comfortable experience for both practitioner and patient. Produced with Hylacross™ technology, the gel has a uniform texture that allows for precise placement and smooth results.
Results typically last up to 9 months, depending on the treated area, injection technique, and individual metabolism.

Storage & handling
Store at 2°C–25°C in a dry, shaded place. Do not freeze or expose to direct sunlight. Single-use only — use immediately after opening. Dispose of all syringes and needles according to local medical waste regulations.
For use by licensed medical professionals only. Not intended for self-injection.
Patients are advised to avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before and after the procedure. Alcohol increases vasodilation and may lead to bruising or prolonged swelling at the injection site.
The product is not recommended during pregnancy, as no clinical studies confirm its safety for pregnant patients. Elective aesthetic treatments should be postponed until after childbirth.
Inject into the superficial to mid dermis using linear threading, fanning, or micro-bolus technique, depending on the area and desired correction depth. Always aspirate before injection and proceed slowly to minimize vascular complications.
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising at the injection site may occur and typically resolve within several days. Rare but serious complications — such as vascular occlusion, blanching, or visual disturbances — require immediate medical attention. Post-treatment cold compresses and gentle aftercare help minimize local reactions.
The cross-linked hyaluronic acid binds and retains water within the dermis, restoring lost volume and improving skin turgor. The gel’s monophasic, cohesive structure ensures even distribution and smooth integration into tissue, resulting in natural-looking outcomes and soft palpation. Over time, the filler gradually biodegrades without leaving residues.
Use of dermal fillers is not advised while breastfeeding, since it is unknown whether product metabolites are excreted into breast milk. Procedures should be deferred until breastfeeding has ended.
The filler contains cross-linked hyaluronic acid (24 mg/ml) for volume restoration and hydration, combined with lidocaine (0.3%) to reduce discomfort during injection. The hyaluronic acid is of non-animal origin and stabilized using Hylacross™ technology, ensuring a consistent, long-lasting gel texture.
