Alcohol should be avoided for 24 hours after the procedure. As a vasodilator, alcohol can exacerbate localized edema and bruising, potentially complicating the assessment of the dissolving progress.

This treatment is contraindicated. While Liporase is used for emergencies, elective dissolving procedures are strictly deferred until after childbirth and the conclusion of the breastfeeding period.

The formulation contains 1500 IU of Hyaluronidase in a stable, freeze-dried powder form. It does not contain preservatives or lidocaine.

Liporase must be reconstituted with saline (usually 3ml to 5ml of 0.9% NaCl) before use. The concentration and dosage depend entirely on the volume and cross-linking density of the filler being dissolved. For small corrections, such as resolving 0.5 ml of lip filler, low-dose micro-injections are preferred to avoid depleting natural HA. Emergency protocols for vascular events require much higher, repeated doses.

The most common reaction is temporary post-injection swelling and localized purple bruising. Some patients may experience a mild allergic response. To ensure safety, a skin patch test is highly recommended prior to full treatment. Post-dissolving care should follow a strict expert aftercare guide to monitor the skin's recovery.

Hyaluronidase works by breaking the glucosaminidic bonds of hyaluronic acid. This reduces the viscosity of the injected gel, facilitating its diffusion and eventual reabsorption by the lymphatic system. Unlike skin boosters which add hydration, Liporase temporarily breaks down the moisture-retaining scaffold to clear tissue of foreign HA particles.
