Ellanse S (2x1 ml)

Patients should refrain from alcohol for 24h before and 48h after the procedure. Alcohol is a vasodilator that can exacerbate post-treatment swelling and increase the risk of hematomas during the initial phase of PCL integration.

Ellanse S works through a dual-action process: immediate volume is provided by the CMC gel carrier, while the PCL microspheres trigger a "foreign body response" that stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen. Unlike skin boosters that focus on hydration, Ellanse S creates a lasting biological scaffold within the deep dermis.

This biostimulator is strictly contraindicated during pregnancy. We adhere to the highest patient safety standards and recommend postponing collagen-induction treatments until after the nursing period has concluded.

The product contains Polycaprolactone (PCL) microspheres (30%) suspended in a Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) gel carrier (70%), optimized for a 12-month resorption cycle.

The dosage is determined by the clinician based on the level of volume deficit. Typically, 1 ml to 2 ml is used for a standard mid-face rejuvenation. Because the collagen induction process is gradual, clinicians should evaluate the patient's structural response before adding more product. While we often discuss if 0.5 ml of filler is enough for hydration in HA treatments, Ellanse S requires full-vial precision for effective structural biostimulation.

Expect transient swelling, localized tenderness, and potential purple bruising. Due to the nature of PCL, the inflammatory "activation" phase can be slightly more noticeable than with HA. The use of Ellanse S is not recommended during lactation. There is no clinical data on the systemic absorption of PCL components into breast milk; therefore, elective procedures should be deferred.
