Ellanse L works through Tunable Longevity Technology: the CMC gel provides an immediate corrective "fill," while the PCL microspheres stimulate fibroblasts to produce natural collagen. Unlike skin boosters that focus on hydration, Ellanse L creates a permanent biological scaffold that remains until the PCL is naturally resorbed after 3 years.

Injection is not recommended for nursing mothers. It is advised to wait until the breastfeeding period has completely concluded before undergoing elective aesthetic treatments to ensure the highest safety for both mother and infant.

The formulation contains Polycaprolactone (PCL) microspheres (30%) and a Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) gel carrier (70%), specifically optimized for a 36-month longevity cycle.

The dosage is individualized based on the patient's volume deficit and the desired level of structural correction. Typically, 1 ml to 2 ml is sufficient for a full mid-face rejuvenation. Because the collagen induction process takes 3 months to peak, clinicians should avoid over-correcting in the initial session. While practitioners often debate if 0.5 ml of filler is enough for minor hydration in HA treatments, Ellanse L requires full-vial structural precision.

Common side effects include transient swelling, localized tenderness, and potential purple bruising.
