Ellanse E (2x1 ml)

Ellanse E works in two phases: the CMC gel provides immediate mechanical volume, while the PCL microspheres gradually stimulate the body's fibroblasts to produce new collagen. Unlike skin boosters, which offer temporary hydration, Ellanse E builds a lasting tissue matrix that remains long after the carrier gel has been resorbed.

Injection is not recommended for nursing mothers. It is advised to wait until the breastfeeding period has completely concluded before undergoing elective biostimulation to avoid any potential systemic risks.

The formulation contains Polycaprolactone (PCL) microspheres (30%) suspended in a Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) gel carrier (70%), optimized for a 48-month duration.

Dosage is individualized based on the level of tissue atrophy. Typically, 1 ml to 2 ml is used for full-face rejuvenation. Because the biostimulation process peaks at approximately 12 weeks, practitioners should always start with a conservative amount. While patients often ask if 0.5 ml of filler is enough for minor hydration, Ellanse E requires strategic, full-vial structural placement for effective 4-year support.

Common side effects include transient swelling, redness, and purple bruising at the injection site.
