This treatment is strictly contraindicated. There is no clinical safety data regarding the use of hyaluronic acid products or lidocaine injectables during fetal development.

The formulation contains 18.5 mg/ml of high-purity, cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid of non-animal origin, 0.3% Lidocaine for procedural comfort, and Mannitol as an antioxidant buffer.

Dosage is highly dependent on the patient's existing anatomy and aesthetic goals. A typical treatment ranges from 0.5 ml to 1 ml per session. Practitioners should evaluate if 0.5 ml of lip filler is enough for subtle hydration or if the full syringe is required for structural augmentation.

Common reactions include transient swelling, tenderness, and purple bruising. These are standard following any mucosal HA injection. Patients must avoid alcohol for 24 hours before and 48 hours after treatment. Alcohol's vasodilatory effects significantly increase the risk of swelling and hematomas. Similar precautions apply to drinking coffee after lip filler due to potential dehydration and blood flow changes.

The use of Stylage is not recommended for nursing mothers. It is advised to postpone elective injectable procedures until the breastfeeding period has completely ceased.
